Kate Delmar-Morgan, Nutritional Therapist at The Putney Clinic of Physical TherapyKate Delmar-Morgan is a registered Nutritional Therapist who qualified initially with a Diploma in 2004. She followed this up with a First Class Honours Degree in Health Sciences: Nutritional Therapy in 2006. Her training was based on the Functional Medicine model, which ensures her approach to clients is individual. Clients receive tailored, practical and realistic recommendations on how to integrate healthy nutrition into their everyday life in order to achieve their health and performance goals. With over 11 years in clinical practice, Kate offers an exceptionally high standard of knowledge and experience.

She is registered with the British Association for Applied Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy (BANT) and the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC). In addition to her clinical work, Kate sits on the Professional Practice Committee for BANT. Her role there is to uphold the standards of the Nutritional Therapy profession. She is also a trained and BANT Accredited Supervisor. As such, she has been supervising BANT Nutritional Therapists since April 2016. Kate is fully insured and regularly attends courses for the purpose of continuing professional development to keep up to date in the latest developments and evidence based research in nutrition.

NUTRITIONAL THERAPY

Kate offers her clients advice on dietary changes, supplements and functional testing for all aspects of their health. She is passionate about empowering people to improve their health through good nutrition. Kate has a professional and calm approach to patients, while providing practical recommendations to suit each individual. She can work with you on any health issue and also works closely with families and children in preconception, pregnancy, post pregnancy and childhood. Kate also has a special interest in learning disorders and autism and the link to nutrition.

OTHER WORK

Kate lectures at the world renowned Institute for Optimum Nutrition in London and is often invited to speak at nutrition-related conferences and events, as well as at colleges and universities. Kate also contributes to nutrition related articles for a number of magazines e.g. Runners World, Optimum Nutrition, and many more. She also works with corporate companies, catering companies, schools and nurseries and has designed a number of nutrition learning programmes for charities. In addition to this, Kate is the Nutritional Therapist for The Body Retreat for Weight Loss and Stress and for LuluBaby antenatal courses.

MORE ABOUT KATE DELMAR-MORGAN

Before becoming a Nutritional Therapist, Kate worked in the stressful and pressured world of live communication and events within an agency environment. Given this, she fully understands the daily challenges that most people face and the impact it can have on their health and their diet. Realising the impact of poor diet and lifestyle on her own health, Kate made the leap to study and practise nutrition. Away from work, Kate also enjoys many outdoor pursuits including triathlons, sailing and trekking.

DALLAGLIO FOUNDATION

We are proud to support the Dallaglio Foundation, founded by retired England and British Lions star Lawrence Dallaglio. The foundation helps disadvantaged young people via the RugbyWorks programme. It also organises the biennial Dallaglio Cycle Slam fundraising challenge.
