Postnatal Pilates classes are ideal for women looking to regain fitness after pregnancy and childbirth. There is a strong focus on working the core muscles that become weakened during pregnancy. These classes are suitable for women from six weeks after giving birth, or after their postpartum check-up. We strongly recommend that women refrain from participating in Postnatal Pilates classes before this time.
Yoga Mama Wellness specialises in Postnatal Pilates at our studio in Putney, south-west London. We deliberately keep our classes small, with an average of 6-12 students per class. This allows for individual attention and support from our team of highly qualified and experienced teachers, while also promoting a sense of community. Women are more than welcome to bring their babies along to the class. However, please note that they do not participate in the class.
We currently run in-studio and online Postnatal Pilates classes. 1:1 tuition is also available on demand.

BOOKING A CLASS
At present we are unable to take class bookings or accept cash payments at our reception. Therefore, students must make all bookings and payments via our online booking system. Enrolment closes 60 minutes before classes are due to commence, so we urge you to book early to avoid disappointment. ATTENDING THE STUDIO
We have reduced our in studio class capacity to 6 in order to allow correct (1m+) social distancing. We kindly request students follow the guidelines below.
Please arrive no earlier than 5 minutes before your scheduled class and use a face covering in all communal areas. You can remove this once inside the studio. Remember to wash your hands or use sanitising gel before entering the studio. Prior to the entering the studio, we provide pre-class temperature screenings.
Mat spaces will be marked out to help you stay physically distanced. Please bring your own mat and a blanket or muslin for your baby to lie on. We do have some mats on sale if needed.
Due to space constrictions, we request those attending postnatal classes to bring their babies to the studio in a sling as we cannot accommodate prams.
Teachers will not be offering hands-on adjustments for the time being. Finally, we ask you keep personal belongings to a minimum.

Please sign in or sign up for your class as normal. Enrolment for online classes closes 60 minutes before the class start time, so book early to avoid disappointment. Please note, online class bookings are not valid on our in-studio classes.
Check your inbox for an email from us with the ZOOM meeting link around 15 minutes before the start of the class. Join the ‘meeting’ 5 minutes or so before the class starts with your audio and video switched on so that the teacher can say hello. You can then go off and do other things or get settled before the class starts.
Our online classes are powered by ZOOM. In order to join a class, download the latest version of Zoom. We recommend leaving plenty of time for this so as to avoid any last minute hitches before your class starts.
Please ensure your device is charged sufficiently for the duration of the class (60 minutes).
