Postnatal Pilates is ideal for women who are looking to regain fitness after pregnancy and childbirth. There is a strong focus on working the core muscles which become weakened during pregnancy. Our Postnatal Pilates classes are led by a Pilates-trained physiotherapist. The classes are suitable for women from six weeks after giving birth or after their postpartum check-up. We strongly recommend that women do not participate in Postnatal Pilates classes before this time. Mums are very welcome to bring their babies with them, but please note that babies do not participate in the class.
OUR POSTNATAL PILATES CLASSES
We run Postnatal Pilates classes at our studio in Putney, South-West London in conjunction with Yoga Mama Wellness. To find out on when these take place, please consult our class timetable. Yoga Mama Wellness operates a class pass system on Postnatal Pilates classes (bundles of 6 classes to be used within 8 weeks), with drop in places also available.
