Barry Walsh is a Chartered Physiotherapist and MSK Sonographer at The Putney Clinic of Physical Therapy. After completing his physiotherapy studies at Birmingham University in 1995, he worked at some of the leading teaching hospitals in London and then went into private practise.
Subsequently he worked as a physiotherapy consultant with the England, Harlequins and Wasps rugby teams as well as the Irish athletics team. He completed his Master’s degree in spinal
manipulation and rehabilitation at UCL in 2001 and was a Senior Lecturer in Rehabilitation Sciences at St George's University London. He is also a qualified Musculoskeletal sonographer and uses ultrasound scanning to help diagnose Musculoskeletal conditions.
Before his physiotherapy career, Barry represented Ireland in both rugby and decathlon and won a bronze medal at the European Junior Championships for decathlon. He also played professional rugby for London Irish.
