Barry Walsh, Chartered Physiotherapist

Barry Walsh is a Chartered Physiotherapist at The Putney Clinic of Physical Therapy. He is well known within the profession, with 27 years of experience under his belt since graduating from Birmingham University. Since then, Barry has earned a Master's degree in Spinal Manipulation and Rehabilitation. He regularly attends CPD workshops in order to further his knowledge. Barry is currently undertaking a PG cert in ultrasound diagnostics to help in differential diagnosis of musculoskeletal injuries.

Professionally, he has worked in both hospital and private clinic environments. Barry has also worked as a physiotherapy consultant with the England, Harlequins and Wasps rugby teams. He is a Senior Lecturer in Rehabilitation Sciences at St George's and other medical schools.

Barry is an ex-rugby player and has represented Ireland at both under-19 and full international level. In addition, he is also a distinguished former decathlete. He won bronze medal at the 1987 European Junior Championship and was the British AAA champion in 1992.
