Enrico Garfield is a Chartered Physiotherapist at the Putney Clinic. A passionate and versatile physiotherapist, Enrico believes physical therapy should be about maximising the client’s movement possibilities. He specialises in treating musculoskeletal injuries with an integrated neuromuscular approach.
During his formation as a physiotherapist, Enrico was able to work in the Italian National Health Service system. This allowed him to gain experience in many different aspects of rehabilitation, including orthopaedic, neurological and cardio-respiratory conditions. Before graduating, Enrico worked as a massage therapist in Rome, Padova and Mexico City.
Within the private sector, Enrico has worked both independently and in a private multidisciplinary clinic that specialises in musculoskeletal injuries. This experience allowed him to work alongside orthopaedic specialists, as well as to treat athletes competing for the Italian Olympic team. Since moving to London, Enrico has worked for The Practice in Notting Hill, with excellent results and reviews.
He specialises in treating musculoskeletal conditions through manual therapy. This allows him to empower patients using self-management and guided exercise. His approach is based on the integration of neurological and muscular features of movement, which allows him to maximise recovery and aim at improving long-term results.
Enrico will gladly interact with speakers of English, French, Spanish, and Italian, being fluent in all these languages.
Away from the treatment room, Enrico has trained in Muay Thai, Aerial Acrobatics, and Postural Training. He also currently practises Capoeira.
