GENERAL PILATES
1:1 tuition available on request
Our mat-based General Pilates classes aim to condition and strengthen the body by maintaining and restoring correct postural alignment. We then focus on building strength in the abdomen and lower back. Our small mat-work classes allow you to receive personalised attention from our highly qualified team of Pilates teachers.
Booking a class
We are currently not running any group General Pilates classes at our studio or online. However, 1:1 sessions are available upon request (see below for details). To consult our other classes, visit our timetable.
Places on our in-studio group classes are limited and are on a first-come first-serve basis. At present, we are unable to take class bookings or payments at our reception. This means that in order to attend a class, you will need to book your space in advance using the Yoga Mama online booking system. Enrolment on our classes closes 60 minutes before advertised class start times. Therefore, we urge you to book early to avoid disappointment. We kindly request that you do not attend the studio without a valid class booking.
You can also use the Acuity Scheduling App to book classes on your mobile or tablet. This is available to download from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store.
1:1 General Pilates sessions
We offer online and in-studio 1:1 General Pilates sessions upon request. These are unavailable to book online. So, if you would like to book a session, please send an email to info@yogamama.co.uk or call Cherie Lathey on 07939 589 083. To consult our 1:1 fees sessions and discounted block bookings, click here.
Class passes
We operate a class pass system, with passes available for 1, 5 and 10 classes. Visit our prices page for more information about the types of passes available and prices.
Attending online classes
Enrolment for online classes closes 60 minutes before the class start time, so book early to avoid disappointment. Please note, online class bookings are not valid on our in-studio classes.
When scheduling your class, you will receive a confirmation email which includes the Zoom meeting link for your class. Join the ‘meeting’ 5 minutes or so before your class is due to starts with your audio and video switched on so that the teacher can say hello. You can then go off and do other things or get settled before the class starts.
Technical requirements
We run our online classes using ZOOM. In order to join a class, download the latest version of Zoom. We recommend leaving plenty of time for this so as to avoid any last minute hitches before your class starts.
Mobile and tablet users can download the ZOOM app from The App Store or Google Play.
Please ensure your device is charged sufficiently for the duration of the class (60 minutes).
