CRANIAL OSTEOPATHY
We offer cranial osteopathy services at The Putney Clinic of Physical Therapy. Osteopathy is based on the principle that the structure and function of the body are intimately related. If the structure is not balanced and healthy, then the function is affected. Osteopaths do not treat ‘conditions’, but take a holistic approach to a patient. In order to do so, they use manual techniques to restore, maintain, and support well-being.
Cranial Osteopathy at The Putney Clinic
At the Putney Clinic of Physical Therapy we believe that cranial osteopathy is an effective, non-invasive and safe treatment for people of all ages. This includes newborn babies, children, pregnant and post-partum women, men and the elderly.
Our cranial osteopaths
Our team of paediatric osteopaths regularly see children of all ages. These range from new born babies and toddlers through to school children and teenagers. At all stages in development, children go through enormous physical and emotional changes. We are here to discuss, helping each individual on a case by case basis.
Our osteopaths have significant skills, knowledge and experience in working with these groups in particular. They are fully qualified osteopaths with postgraduate qualifications in paediatrics. They have specialist skills and knowledge in the anatomy, examination, diagnosis and clinical management of babies, children and perinatal women.
