Andy Parker is a Registered Osteopath at The Putney Clinic of Physical Therapy. Originally from Yorkshire, Andy trained at the University College of Osteopathy, the oldest and largest school of osteopathy in Europe, where he gained a Master's degree in Osteopathy. He is also qualified in Shockwave Therapy. In addition to this, Andy also holds a Diploma in Sports and Remedial Massage and is qualified in Western Medical Acupuncture.
Andy firmly believes in the importance of treating pain and injury, while also creating strong, resilient bodies that are protected from injury in the future. We all have the potential to perform exercise, movement, and day-to-day tasks without the fear of injury. He is keen to inspire this ability and confidence in patients.
Away from work, Andy's interests are broad. He is particularly interested in cycling, swimming, running and gym work. He has also sailed extensively and has obtained a Yachtmaster Certificate. He has spent many years racing on the Solent and then in major offshore races for days at a time, including the Fastnet. If this were not enough, Andy has also completed two transatlantic voyages.
