The Putney Clinic of Physical Therapy is holding a free online public health talk titled “The Sporting Knee: From Cradle to Grave” on Thursday 25 February (6:30 – 7:30pm). Our guest speaker will be Mr Simon Thompson, Knee Surgeon and former Saracens rugby player. Join us online and learn all you need to know about knees. At the end of the talk, there will be a Q&A session.

About Mr Simon Thompson

Mr Simon Thompson specialises in all aspects of knee surgery, including acute ligament injuries. His surgical interests include meniscal injuries, complex ligament reconstruction and joint replacement. He also has a special interest in anterior knee pain in athletes. He is only the second UK orthopaedic surgeon to join the highly prestigious Australian Knee Society. His research is highly regarded and he regularly lectures internationally. For his ACL research, he won the best paper award at the International Society of Arthroscopy, Knee Surgery and Orthopaedic Sports Medicine. In addition, he has medically represented first class and international rugby and football teams.
